The University of Washington (UW) located in Seattle, WA, United States. It is commonly referred to as Washington or informally UDub. It is a public research university founded in 1861. UW is one of the best medical schools in the world and is one of the oldest universities in the West Coast. The university has three campuses: primary and the largest in the University District of Seattle and the other two in Tacoma and Bothell.
